Freiburg/Kamp-Lintfort, Germany, February 27th, 2012 – TE-CORE/RF – a new, modular, self-sustaining wireless sensor kit is announced by Micropelt, German vendor of chip thermogenerators and thermal energy harvesting micro power sources, and IMST, German specialist in low power wireless solutions.
An embedded Micropelt thermogenerator which converts heat from a warm surface into electricity, provides the system power.
IMST presents the WiMOD radio modules on Metering, Billing/CRM Europe in Amsterdam from 4th-6th of October at Booth C83 / Hall 5 The family of pre-certified radio modules for the license free ISM bands at 868 MHz and 2.4 GHz comprises of solutions for individual customized protocols as well as for standard protocols like ZigBee and Wireless M-Bus....
Since today samples of the new WiMOD module iM871A and the associated starter kit SK-iM871A can be ordered. The iM871A was developed particularly for applications within the metering market and is the latest family member of the WiMOD radio modules of IMST GmbH. The test & configuration software Wireless M-bus Studio provides an easy way for the user to configure and test his metering applications.
At Smart Energy Day www.smart-energy-day.com in Munich IMST presents the integration of the WiMOD radio modules in the Embedded Platform Concept (EPC) from Arrow Central Europe and the Wireless M-Bus solution iM871A.
IMST is represented on the embedded world with two main topics. The product family WiMOD is extended by two more radio modules with outstanding properties. In addition to the successfully commercialized proprietary wireless modules for the European 868 MHz and 2.4 GHz ISM bands IMST shows the standard module iM222A and one of the world's smallest Wireless M-Bus module iM871A. The other topic are the "wireless building blocks". IMST is exhibiting multiple gateway options and an example how to use "wireless building blocks" and iPads to control building management.
